Looking for real sweet wine

I am an unexperienced wine drinker but know I don't like dry or bitter taste. But I have tried some sweet and would really like to know of a good sweet wine. Thanks

Hi Jergirl, and welcome to the Wine Board. For a white look for an American Riesling that does not say "dry" on the label; or a German Riesling that says "Spatlese" on the label. Another choice is an American Chenin Blanc that does not say "dry" on the label or a Vouvray from Loire (in France) that does not say "Sec" on the label.

For a red look for a Lambrusco from Italy.

For both go to a local winery. Most east of the Rocky Mountains make a full aray of red and white lines across the sweetness spectrum.
