Well, I cracked it open and drank it. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed.

Hi Machforce1 and you've just discovered one of the problems with buying older wine without definate proof of provenance. This was one of the real stars of the outstanding 89 vintage. Should just now be coming into it's own. I rated this beauty a solid 95 and thought it should improve for a minimum 15 years and last at least another 15 or 20. Sorry I missed this post originally but would have given the same advice. I guarantee if you can find a bottle of this booger that's been properly cellard, it's a sock "roller-up-and-downer" WW

I purchased a case on futures and still have 10 bottles. I opened a bottle over Xmas and it is not close to being ready yet, needing another 5 years. The bottle opened was just as WW states, a 95 pointer (and you know how I hate to agree with him).
