Wine cost?

Is there someone who knows about the cost for a Chianti classico riserva 1981 and a 1997 of Castello di Verrazzano? Thank you.

Pretty sure that the 97' around here is between $10 and $15 a bottle US funds. As far as the 81', try looking on winesearcher.com to see what it is going for.

My experience with Verrazzano,is it's an "okay" wine, but there are better ones out there for the same price or less. Most 81's are long gone, but, if it was properly stored, you may have an exception to the rule, and a very enjoyable drinking experience. You won't know for sure, till you pop the cork.
