I will be in the Pittsburg area next week. Is there any wines that I need to look for there that might not be available in NC? And where is a good place to eat that want break the bank?

PA still has their state store system. Having said that, they have done a good job of upgrading appearance and selections in at least the major meto areas, which would include Pittsburgh. Look for local wines, particularly from the Lake Erie AVA, and very particularly Presque Isle Wine Cellars wines.
