Glen Ellen Chardonay

I am new to the Wine Board but have enjoyed different wines for many years at various pricing. Recently I bought a Glen Ellen Chardonnay 1998 in a grocery store!!!. It was wonderful. Any comments on this particular vintage would be interesting to me. Thanks

Thanks for the link. The info was new and old as I was familiar with the Glen Ellen Winery and the history of the Chardonnay boom. Somehow though this particular vintage from Glen Ellen seemed excellent even compared to others I have had costing more. Just my taste I suppose. Thanks again.

Taste in wine is like taste in color. There is no right or wrong answer. That's what makes this such a wonderful field to explore!

I'm going to ask you not to stop there! Try Australian Chardonnays next. They won't hurt your pocket!
