I am indeed an amateur and I stored bottles of Dom Perignon in my fridge. They have been in my fridge for 2 years. A friend told me that they are ruined and that I should have stored them in a cellar, but I don't have a cellar! Are they really ruined? If so, where else can I store them besides a cellar?

Hi Cincin, and welcome to the Wine Board. Your Champagne is not as good as when you got them, but still fine, and definitely not ruined unless there is something seriously wrong with your fridge.

Without getting into a long discourse, you could have obtained far superior Champagne to the Dom for the same or lower price.
