I am new to the wine market, can anyone suggest a good wine for a relaxing evening watching moves, listening to music, etc? Thanks.

Hi Temyers and welcome to the board. If you live in an area that has winters, there's nothing more satisfying than a great Port. Try a tawny to start with. Have some Stilton cheese, walnuts and cool. You can also find some delicious late harvest wines from Australia that will do the trick. Have fun. WW

temyers, port would be my first choice as well. In addition to tawny, might try the Smith Woodhouse Lodge Reserve Vintage Character Port...an awfully long name, but a very smooth sipper for $15+.

On the lighter (& lower alcohol) side, a Moscato d'Asti would be a great idea...slightly sweet, white w/ some bubbles. Go to the 'search' function on this Board & type in 'moscato d'asti' for suggestions. Be sure to select 'Search All Open Forums and Archives' in the Search/Forum section.

cheers,
cp
