can anyone advice me on sweet dinner wines. I like really sweet wines. one of my favorite is ice block pinot gris from edgefield winery in oregon which has 17.5 % residual sugar by weight.
I would like to know other wines which has high amounts of residual sugar levels in them.

thanks

richie

Welcome, richie. I suggest you go the the German aisle in your wine shop and try some Riesling kabinett and spatlese or auslese...they should tickle your sweet tooth. Also Hogue, Washington State, makes a nice late harvest riesling that's tasty, sweet and cheap.

Another one to request is Greenwood Ridge Late Harvest Riesling. It will probably be more expensive than the Hogue but I think may be more what you are looking for in a sweet wine.

I have no knowledge on wines, but I have been doing some reading here, and if you go to the search area, and type in sweet wines, you will find LOTs of info, that will help you, I know my head is reeling from all that I have read.
