Hi folks,
I'm new to the forum and pretty much new to wine. I've noticed that there are a couple of experts here on Italian wines so, if you don't mind, I'd like to pick your brain for a minute.

A friend of mine got this wine from her prof called Sangue di Guida (Blood of Judas) and she was nice enough to give me a taste. And now I'm hooked!

Unfortunately, the only Sangue di Guida I could find is called "Paradiso" from Bruno Verdi - this isn't the wine that I had, the bottle is different and the taste is slightly different as well. I recall the prof telling my friend that there are two vineyards in Italy that make Sangue di Guida, but I can't find the second vineyard. Any ideas? Or is my memory failing me and there is only one vineyard that produces this wine?
Also, are there sellers located in California who stock this wine?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mae and welcome to the Wine Board. Wine-searcher turned up nothing. Google turned up a lot but most was Paradiso or overseas sources. Try it yourself and see if anything looks familiar. Where did the Prof get it? Was it in the U.S.A. or Italy?

Hi again,

Thanks for the help - I googled it myself and I got the same results, which is why I figured someone on this forum might be able to help.

Her prof said she got it from a Wine convention/festival in Santa Monica I think. I did get a couple of bottles of the Paradiso one, but the other wine I tasted still lingers on my mind

If she got it Santa Monica it might have been Wine Expo. That shop carries one of the if not the largest selection of Italian Wines in the U.S.A.

Wine Expo at Santa Monica had exactly what I wanted, thank you so much for the help!!

Also, the guy I talked to was really sweet and helpful - this is definitely a good place to buy wine
