I came across a '98 Soave. To be exact, it is Pieropan, 98 Classico Superior. I find it dirt cheap for a Classico Superior wine (Singapore $23.00 , about US$13.5). Usually good italian wines cost about S$40 here.

Thus I was doubting if it was a good wine. Tempted to give it a try. I just wanna know, anyone tried it before? Was 98 a good year for Soave?

It may have been reduced because of age. With the exception of Vermentino, would not trust hardly any Italian White older than vintage 2000.
