Hey Skeeter

Our Company has just introduced a new wine form that area called Monkey Bay.

Have you heard of it,and have you tasted it.
I tried it,and it was good but to light in the body, but had a good clean finish

I just tried it tonight and it tastes like it has residual sugar in it -- a turn off for me.

That's interesting Bucko. A little while ago I tasted some Babich SB and I could swear it contained residual sugar.

I have honestly never heard of this wine, but a quick Googling gives this onfo.

"Monkey Bay is distributed by Canandaigua Wine Company, the popular-priced and premium wine producer of Constellation Wines U.S."

And

"Although the wine is credited to the Canandaigua Wine Company, it is actually made at the Drylands Winery in Marlborough by kiwi Alistair McIntosh, a group senior winemaker for Nobilo Wines."

Every other result is from American liquor stores and supermarket chains. Sounds like a U.S-only release to me.
