I know VERY little about wines but I would like to try something good. I like sweet drinks, something to sip on my porch while relaxing. Not necessarily for a meal. Prefer it be around 20$ or less per bottle. I hope this is enough info. I just want to get started with wines and don't want to get stuck with bottles of stuff that is too "sour or tart." Thanks!

Welcome to the Wine Board, dawgmom. You might want to try a Moscato d'Asti. It's a nice light white wine from Italy made from the Muscat grape. It's "frizzante", which means it has a bit of a spritz. It's also fairly light in alcohol, so it's good to sip of the deck on a hot summer day. You should be able to find at least one at your local wine shop at about $8 to $14.
