It comes in lighter and more concentrated versions. The fuller ones (higher alcohol levels) should be consumed at zin and other full red wine temps, around 65 degrees F. The lighter pinots can go a little cooler like a Beaujolais.

Ok now I'm a little confused. What is a Beaujolais? I take it is like a type of wine right? So does that mean it's cooler? The alcohol level in the the Turning Leaf brand I bought is 13.5% from 1997. Is this a high content? If so I take it that means that it is drunk at room temp. Thanks for your insight.

Beaujolais is a light wine from the southern part of Burgundy. It is made from the gamay grape. It is usually drunk at 55-60 degrees. Your pinot is a full one, and should be dunk at 65 degrees F. If your "room" is 75 degrees you need to cool it down some in the fridge or ice bucket.
