A friend told me that Burgundy wines were similiar to a Pinot Grigio; however, he noted some differences (I can't remember now). At any rate, I was wondering what are stand out names in this region as well as maybe some more insight on the virtues of the grape??!!

Pinot Grigio has nothing whatsoever to do with Burgundy, and vice-versa. Your friend might have meant Pinot Noir, and that is a whole 'nuther story. ...

Thanks. I must have gotten my facts crossed. As for the burgundy, however, I'm interested in more information. I'd like to know how to get my hands on it. Or if you'd be so kind...

Look in the Chicago Telephone book Yellow pages. Find a wine shop near your location and visit them. Ask them for burgundy...........!!!
