Hi Pkkay, and welcome to the Wine Board. There is no answer to your questions that can be answered in less than a book. An excellent book that can help you with all sorts of wines, including those of France, is "Essential Winetasting", by Michael Schuaster. It was published in London in 2000 by Mitchell Beazley. The ISBN is 1-84000-205-0. The original price was 20 Pounds, but can be picked up at discount at this time.
