I am planning a picnic for my girlfriend. I'm going to pick up a couple of deli sandwhiches and wanted to know what wine would go good with them.

Welcome to the board, CHB. What kind of sandwiches do you have in mind? Salami? Pastrami? Chicken? Ham? Corned beef? And how much are you willing to spend per bottle?

If you check down on the East Coast thread you'll see we drank a sweet white with sandwiches last night. Not bad. Why don't you stop by one of your excellent TN wineries and pick one up. If you have time, taste several, and ask them what to take on your picnic. http://www.tennesseewines.com/wineries3.html
