trying to find out about Jacuzzi wine. Visited a vineyard in 1996 up close to salsalito ca. Owners were letting the visitors vote on the label that would be used. Supposedly the father of the vineyard owner invented the jacuzzi tub, thus they were going to name the wine Jacuzzi. Don't know if it is released yet or not, but would like to find it.

Welcome to the board, SC. From what I've been able to find, the Jacuzzi Family Vineyard is in Contra Costa County, and their first vintage was a 1994 Reserve Zinfandel. Winemaker is Michael Cline of Cline Vineyards. Suggest you contact a retailer in your area and ask him to order it for you. Be prepared for sticker shock - it seems to be running about $50 per bottle. If you do Web searches with Altavista.com on Jacuzzi+wine and Jacuzzi+vineyard, you'll call up the results I looked at.

As a new member and recent inductee to the wonderful world of wines, I can offer little, but I have had a Cline Mourvedre, and it was wonderful.

(A word of caution though: this is a VERY stout Mourvedre and should breathe AT LEAST 3 hours before drinking)
