Anyone willing to comment on their experience with Black Opal cabernet/merlot. It's from a vineyard "down under". RS

Have not tried that one. However, the Wolf Blass President Select Grenache and the Wolf Blass Red Label Shiraz/Cabernet are both pretty darn impressive to me.

Thanks Mr.D I'll put those in my data base I have created for wines to try. It's getting bigger every day. RS

RS, IMHO Black Opal is a one dimensional quaffer, mass produced wine that's just ok...not good not bad, just there.

I've had their merlot and I have to concur with Drew.

Thanks for your comments. A friend of mine told me he had a glass, when he was out for dinner, and said he enjoyed it. RS
