I have several questions:How do you pronounce Merlot;with the t, or is the t silent. I have a friend that likes Merlot, and I bought some Reunite Merlot. Not very expensive, and a bit sec.Is there a little more expensive, not so dry, and with a possibly better, say bouquet, to it that could be recommended? Thank you.

Welcome to the Wine Board Birdman. It's Mer-low with the accent on the second syllable. If you want to lose your friend, give him or her the Reunite. Some Best Buys that have been recommended around here lately are: Abbeville, Blackstone, Fleur du Cap, Vichon, and Wyndham.
