I bought this only because I remember many on this board exclaiming the virtues of this winery after the group visit a wihle back. You're right...Great Stuff!

2003 Willow Crest Syrah Estate Series - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley (12/15/2006)

Bought this on close out at $12.91/bottle. Pleasently surprised. Popped and poured. Garnet in color, and with a bit of swirling a bright nose of violets, earth, spice and subtle oak. Medium body, lovely feel in the mouth, almost elegant, subtle red fuit, very old world in the flavor profile. The finish has this burst of flovor that intensifies and lingers on and on. Outstanding!

Glad you liked it and were able to get a good price on it as well. Christmas comes early.

Great wine and great price on it! I'd clean that place out!

Very good tasting note that brought back nice summer memories. We didn't taste a bad wine in their whole lineup. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, too!

You're right, I should go back and see if there's more.

I'm drinking a glass again tonight from the same bottle. Not much change, just as good.

Thanks again for the tip!

Glad to see Dave (owner) and Victor (assistant winemaker) praised again in this forum. They do make very nice wines and I believe they start with some very good grapes.
