calling all experts on the wines of the herault region of s. france!

If anyone could give me any info on the development of the wines in this region I'd be very very grateful.

I'm particularly interested in
1) how much wine is produced in this area
2) where in the world this wine is drunk (for example is alot imported to the UK and sold in Sainsbury's?!)
3) any other points of interest
