I know these wines have been discussed here before. My wife bought a bottle to cook with and we had the rest with dinner. It seemed a bit heavier and not as fruity as the better SBs I have had but it was very drinkable and not all that bad. What do the rest of you think of these wines?

Dandy Don... I am no where near the expert here, but at Trader Joe's, you can get better bottled water for less. TJ's gets good deals on winery sell outs that they spread through out their chains for about $5-$7 per, and you'll find a better wine in that. Check out their monthly flyer for the deals.

A helpful hint about cooking with wine. Try not to cook with one that you wouldn't want to drink. You basically concentrate the flavors of the wine as you cook. A not so tasty wine makes for a not so tasty meal.
