For our asian themed luncheon we are offering guests chicken with ginger sesame souce and "jasmine" poached salmon. Side dishes include sprouts with wasabi vinaigrette and salad with rice wine vinaigrette. I think it will have a Japanese flavor to it. The wine selection is a pretty standard low-mid range (price-wise)list of California wines. Any thoughts on what wines we should get?

No offense, Jesshi....and welcome, BTW..... but I wouldn't touch that decision with somebody else's corkscrew!

Would go with both a pinot noir and a gewurtztraminer. The pinot could be a value priced SLH one such as Logan, Sleepy Hallow Vineyard. For the gewrutz would really opt to one from Alsace rather the CA variety.
