Anyone know about this wine?

I have a bottle of 1993 Clos La Coutale "Cahors". It is a red wine, and that is all I know about it! Can anyone tell me more about it and if it is aged enough now to drink etc?????

Hi Jenjac and welcome to the Wine Board. Cahors is made from 70% malbec and 30% merlot. If malbec doesn't ring a bell with you, it is the most popular grape in Argentina where it is made varietally and in some blends. Yours is definitely ready, if not over the hill. Enjoy it soon with some barbie.
