I'm not new to the board, and I still enjoy reading here everynight before bed. I was eating
supper at my brother-in-laws when his wife came across some wines put back in the closet and I told her I would find out about them for her.
And if their any good I just may have to help her drink them.
One was (Timber Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 1996)
One was (Indigo Hills Sauvignon Blanc 1996)
Mendocino County.
And the other was (Colorado Cellers Estate White 1998 Grand white table wine.
Also can you tell me if these are sweet or bitter. We Like Lambrusco so if you could compare and Thanks alot......Slewfoot.

Hi there Slew and as gently as I can say this is with a warning....Open each bottle, step back 5 paces quickly, and if you aren't overcome by acrid fumes, gently pour into a glass and sniff up close. These are all wines that were meant to be drunk when they were bottled. Amazingly, the mighty Bacchus sometimes throws us a bone. One might be drinkable. Just in case, have a bottle of your favorite Lambie in reserve. WW
