I am looking for some suggestions for a 1998 vintage wine that I can purchase, and store for later use(graduation, wedding, etc.) for my daughter that was born that year.

I am looking to purchase a case and would like to keep it in the 20-25 dollar range. Thanks.

Hi Billcfrommie and welcome to the board. There are gobs of marvelous Rhones from the 98 vintage that should fill the bill. Go to a reputable wine merchant in your area and explain what you want. They should be able to help. If not re-post and I'll give you some specific wines. WW

Also, what sort of storage do you have for these babies? Even the best ager will go south of cheese if its poorly stored. If you want to store them that long, you will need proper storage.
