What is the best way to store white wine if you want to age it for a couple years or more? Should you keep it in your refrigorator? Will keeping it at room temp spoil it?

I keep my whites the same way I keep my reds...in my basement on their side to keep the corks moist, at a temp of about 58 degrees. If you do not have a basement, keep them out of the sunlight, a quiet corner in a closet works well, in as cool a room as you have available...down to the optimal temps of about 55-60....anything under 70 is considered fine. Chill just prior to serving. Enjoy!

The trouble with keeping wines in the refrigerator too long is that the corks tend to stick. Never store your wines anywhere where the temperature tends to fluctuate dramatically, for example your kitchen.
