Oh, is that wine?! ;-)

I'll tell you what... I lived in a DRY county, and they were allowed to sell Arbor Mist. So... I would call it watered down fruit juice.

Arbor Mist products are made from water, sugar, coloring agents, natural and artificial flavorings and, oh yes, wine. With all the other added ingredients, Constellation Brands is able to get away with using very, very cheap wine. There are probably other brands of alcoholic fruit flavored drinks on the market, but the brand names of those made like Arbor Mist escape me. Actually, Arbor Mist is quite similar to all the wine coolers out there. So, go to the beer cooler of your local liquor store and you'll find all the wine coolers.

I doubt if there is any wine in the stuff. It might be that they use unripened grapes to get around the legal matters, to claim they use wine. But the grapes are mainly for the acidity and the claim; the sugar and such does the rest.
