Hi! I'm just getting back into wines after more than a decade of total neglect. I was living with a lady who had a problem with alcohol so I put my wines in storage and kept a 'dry' house. Now that we are no longer together I have been reunited with my liquid friends, but I have no idea what any of them are worth. (Not that that is my sole purpose for collecting them - I'm just curious). So does anyone know how one might go about determining the value of a small (30 bottles or so...maybe less by the time you read this) but ecclectic collection of wines? I've seen auction house sites where it seemed they require fairly large collections in order to make it worth their while. I have a single bottle of each example; from gran cru ('59 Lafite) to oddball personal faves ('71 Scharzhofberger Beerenauslesen, Hohe Domkirch) and everything in between. No real theme here. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
