cant find a wine we like

My wife and I are new at the wine game. We found a wine we like at a local Italian restaurant the label says"moscato d' asti" 2006 marcarini. It is a very sweet and fruity wine and we both love it. We have tried to find something similar but can not. Does anybody have an idea?

If you go to winesearcher.com and type in 2006 moscato d' asti, you will get 143 matches. Lots of it out there.

If you are in a state where you cannot have wine shipped in I would buy an inexpensive bottle of bubbly (Frexinet?)and get some Welchs Pear Juice.

It is absolutely fabulous! You are going to get the sweetness from the juice yet it's not sickly sweet.

We have Marcarini Moscato d'Asti in our shop. I've seen it in shops in CT and CA also. If you ask at your local wine shop, they can get it for you from one of their distributors. You don't list where you are in your profile, so we can't help find you someplace local where you can get it. BTW, there are many, many other Moscato d'Astis in the market and they're all very similar so if you can't find the Marcarini, there should be others available to you.
