Hi Italian Girl, and welcome to the Wine Board. You didn't mention what year your Brunello came from. They normally take about fifteen years from vintage (the date on the bottle) to be ready to drink. Then you take your chances. Usually, the answer is YES.

The wine: Brunello di Montalcino; Banfi is the producer.

The price depends on the vintage which, as IK said, you have to supply for a definitive answer.
