I am embarrassed to ask after reading some of the posts, I must admit I am really a novice. I would like to serve a sweet red wine, and would like to know what beef or chicken dishes can be served with it. I guess I am doing things in reverse, but, my guests do so like the sweet red wine....

Hi Ginny, and welcome to the Wine Board. Lambrusco is the easiest to find. The most popular brand is Reunite. If you can find one just a little more expensive (around $10) it most probably be better. Do not get any that are less expensive. It is best served with pizza or tomato based pasta dishes. It will work with steak or roast beef or burgers too.
