I am looking for a special wine, whose name I don't know! I also don't know from where can I buy that. That wine is special in this regard that it is an old wine (1600s) and was made in graveyards. It is said that the container of wine was buried beside the graveyards and due to which it has phosphorous in it. Can any one help me in findiing this type of wine. I don't drink wine, just want to collect as a souvenier from france. Can I buy that from Paris?

Hi Sadh and welcome to the board. Sounds like to me one of the zillions of myths that are propagated by wine Un-Knowledgables. Any wine made in the 1600s' today would have had the phosphous turn to sulphur by now. Sorry but this isn't a frivolous answer. WW

Your best bet is to go to a Nicolas wineshop and ask them. They might know the legend and can help you with the wine.

I've never heard of it.
