I have recently lost my uncle and have uncovered a bottle of wine in mint condition he had exquisit taste the bottle is Chateau-Laftite-Rothschild1-1964 is it a rare bottle with any value ? Please let me know and I can be reach at McClelland1991@Aol.com

Unfortunately the 66 Lafite hasn't seen old age with dignity. The bottle is selling in the 175-229 range. I had a bunch of this and became disenchanted in 88 and sold the lot. Happy holidays. WW

He said 64. Wipe off your glasses. The 64 was not a good bottle either and has long since gave up the ghost. Pretty much worthless.

Sorry Rage about the misidentification but the same was true of the 64. I got stung so badly on the 66s' I allas' want to knock the vintage. Stand the bottle up for a couple of days, get your significant other, pop the cork on that hummer and cross your big toes. Happy Holidays. WW
