IL RUFFINO (CHIANTI). ARE THEY WORTH ANYTNING.

Welcome to the board! Most likely, given the age, the wine is vinegar. If the bottles are nice looking, they could be a decorator's item. Try them on e-bay, worst you can get is nothing. Otherwise, pop the corks and see what you think.

I would like to get any information on Del Magnifico.

My late father-in-law used to drink it and my husband has mentioned it over the years. He said he would like to get some and I was never able to find anything out about it until I saw Sean's entry a few days ago.

I would like to know if is produced with a different name now and if there is a place to get the old bottles. I am sure my husband would love to have the bottle, even if the wine was not good. I would love to see Sean list it on Ebay.
