I am not a drinker of any sort, but my mother has had a major surgury and cannot eat. The doctor has informed us that a red wine will help her to be able to eat. Please if there is anyone out there that can give me a name of a very sweet red wine I would be so grateful..mother had surgery for an anurisum,and she also my have lung cancer so please someone help me....PLEASE

I would recommend that you take a trip down to your local wine store, and see what they have in inexpensive "jug" wines. Wines such as Country Lake, or Cribari, would likely meet your needs, but I don't know if they are available in your area. You should easily be able to find something comparable with some help from a local wine merchant. You can usually purchase a gallon of these wines for around $10, and they are usually enjoyable to people that don't normally drink wine regularly. Hope this helps.

Brenda, You can also find Manischewitz wines everywhere. Their Elderberry or Concord Grape wine Should fit your needs perfectly. winoweenie ( and they`re Kosher to boot)
