Does anyone have an opinion on Rothschild's Mouton-Cadet Bordeaux 1988? Please let me know. Someone tells me it is going for $200/bottle and is very good. Is it true?

No, it is not true, unless you found the biggest sucker in the world. At 11 y/o, it is probably still drinkable, but barely that.

Vinrouge...Someone must be confusing Mouton Cadet with Mouton-Rothschild.

Mouton-Rothshild is one of the great red wines of Bordeaux and the world.

Mouton Cadet is an everyday red made to capitalize on the Mouton name.

Well Baron Rothschild was a good winer,
but Mouton Cadet 1988 is for sale in the stores (in the Netherlans) for around 10 us.
And the '88 is moderate year.
