We had so much fun doing this once before that we have decided to gather again to grade the despicable end-of-year math tests. This year we'll be having wraps and a southwsest bean/corn/salsa salad. Five out of six of us have ordered a roasted veggie/mozarella number. Any suggestions for a wine with that?

Mercy. I'd bet on the salsa as flavorizer-in-chief and choose a Spaniard, a Gran Reserva Rioja from Sam's Club or Costco; expect to pay $14-17 per. When scanning the huge stock of vino at either locale, look for bottles wrapped in a very thin wire mesh; that should be the Gran Reservas.

Thanks Hotsie. Speaking of hot...it's 89 here today. What's it down there?

Currently 86, officially, headed to 92. But my gauge says it's also 89.
