Hi,

I have three bottles of wine that I was given a few years back. I would truly appreciate it if anyone could tell me if they are still good or if I should get rid of them. I store them on a shelf in my apartment. Here are the years and names:

1) 1996 - Varichon Et Clerc (Blanc de Blanc Brut).
2) 1997 - Erben Kabinett (Franz Wilh. Langguth Rheinhessen).
3) 1996 - Beringer (Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc).

Thanks!

Hi Thomas003 and welcome to the board. It would be a stretch if you find any of the wines still drinkable. With a few exceptions Whites are meant to be consumed within 4-5 years of vinifacation. Compounding the problem is your storage. The only way to find out is to open them dudes and see. Good Luck! WW
