My grandmother gave me the bottle of wine listed below around 10 years ago or more. She couldn't tell me where she got it or give me any information about the wine. I am just curious about how old it may be and any history behind it. Thanks

Mateus Rose Sograde U.S. Forces
Produce of Portugal

Hi Sly and welcome to the board. Mateus is a slightly spritzy Rose that is meant to be drunk on release. I take it it's in the ceramic bottle?. Long ago a dead soldier. No value except for sentamental. WW

It is a green glass short round bottle with a silver top. The label has a picture of old building and U.S. Forces is written on the front label.
