hello,
I have aquired several unopened cases of older french red wines, which have been stored in a basement for many years. How do I determine if these wines would be of value to someone?
The cases are all from 1966-1983, and include Chasse-Spleen Moulis 1966, Belair St Emilion 1970, LaLagune GrandCru Classe 1967, L'Arrosse St Emillion 1983, Belair St Emillion 1967, Nenin Pomerol 1967. These are just the Red wines, I have similar vintage cases of White wines as well. Please send replies to my email address.. Thankyou.. Dan.

Hi DannyFitz aand welcome to the board. You've acquired a stash of wine of nebulous value. I can say without question the 67s' are dead soldiers. The 66 could still have some value as could the 70. Unless the whites are Montrachets from Grand Cru vineyards they also have passed to the great vinegar barrel in the sky and judging from the reds I doubt they are of this quality. Mite be worth the effort to try selling on winebid.com. As Barnum used to say......WW
