I have been given a bottle of 2002 Monterey Chardonnay, and i have no idea if it is drinkable. I am so new at this, I usually buy a bottle and polish it off right away.

Personally, I like my domestic Chardonnay to be as young as possible, so I'd pop it sooner rather than later. If you don't know what the storage was like for this bottle, have another wine waiting backup.
