Doesn't look good, but you never know until the juice is in the barrel, and some don't think you know until the juice is in the bottle. A general rule is the smaller the crop, the better the wine.

Have heard it will be an early harvest in Burgundy--perhaps the first two weeks of September.

The Germans are saying this weather will give them their best fruit since 1934. If you believe them, 2003 should be the vintage to grab all you can of the MSR Rieslings.
