Older Wine age question

I have a 1985 Verrazzano Chianti Classico Reserve from il Castello di Verrazzano winery in Toscana. I was wondering what would the shelf life be for that particular bottle. It is currently stored inside a box in my closet. (free from the hot arizona sun)

Should I leave it alone till december or drink it before it spoils?

The Riserva is probably good for about 10 to 12 years under good storage.
