Bottles under $20

I'm looking for good merlots and cabernet sauvignons under $20 per bottle. Any recommendations?

Hi Mac, and welcome to the Wine Board. Try the Columbia Crest Grand Estates line. They do particularly well with their merlot and cabernet.

Bogle Merlot is very nice and only around $10; ditto for the Hess Select Cab.

Being the simple person that I am, here is my suggestion for a good red and white wine.
Fetzer Barrel Select Merlot and Chardonnay.
Normally some of the wine from Fetzer is not that good but recently I've enjoyed the above. Price ranges from 12 to $17.
