A few years ago, I went to Holland, and was quite pleased to have a glass of a mid price range, sweet German wine that was in a distinctive blue bottle. I think it might be Blue Nun, or a Schmitt Söhne; but I really don't know. I would appreciate any help on this -- I would love to get a bottle for my husband for our upcoming anniversary as a treat.

Sincerely,

Hi Zidel, and welcome to the Wine Board. I hope it was the latter and not the former, but only you can tell. You might get your retailer to give you a taste of both. If this fails I would go with the Schmitt Söhne.
