Hello Everybody
I just got a bottle of this wine and,as my hubby and I are newbies, wanted to ask,is this wine a sipper?Or,what foods does this wine go with?I have no clue. This is a Canadian one by the way if that helps. And my second question...as we both are trying different wines,I would like to try a bottle of Viognier, what would you recommend for starters? We have already tried a Muscat wine and my hubby liked it.So would a Viognier be a good choice? Thanks.

I love Baco Noir. As far as I can tell, it's not very popular outside of the New York/Ontario growing area.

It's strong, smoky, pungent, with notes of barbeque sauce or ketchup -- and as gross as that may sound, it's quite a good wine for foods with those ingredients.

It's also fun to watch your friends' tongues turn purple as they drink this wine.
