Hi Mitch, and welcome to the Wine Board. Look for Stag's Hollow Winery and Vineyard, 2000 Renaissance Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley ($28 Canadian); or Hester Creek Estate Winery, 2000 Merlot, Okanagan Valley ($17 Canadian).

Hi Mitchell and welcome to the board. In your neck of the woods you can find many of the fine wines of Oregon and Washintons' botique wineries. Quicelda Creek cab or Leonetti cab or merlot are probably available from your better merchants. Lots of great Pinots to choose from so see if you can find out this special recepients preference. A good wine merchant in either Vancouver or Spokane can help. Good luck WW

If you can find any of the Marquis-Phillips line from Australia, purchase two of the #9 Shiraz for around $30. One for you and one for a gift. It should drink like a $75 wine. Another that will please is the '97 Gallo Frei Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon for around $25.
