HELP!

Hi, I really don't know that much about wine but I had some great stuff the other night at a date's house. It was pink but I can't remember the name, I saw the box but I didn't get a chance to read the label. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanxs.:-)

tupie, it could have been any of several VERY different wines..e.g. a sweet California white zinfandel (likely), a "pink" champagne (unlikely), an Italian Prosecco (very unlikely), or a myriad of others. Suggest you call & ask the "date". If you find out more info, then we can suggest similar wines. cp

Pink in color. Poured from a box. Sounds like it might have been either a white zin or a rose/blush of some sort.

Whatever it was, since it came from a box instead of a bottle, it might not have even really been wine; just a beverage with some alcohol in it. [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/smile.gif[/img]

Good point MrD...didn't notice the "box" part on first reading. My guess is that it was Franzia...guess wine drinkin' always starts somewhere! cp
