A good friend of mine moved here from Milwaukee a couple years ago. She has mentioned her favorite wine being something called Mamatino. Not sure of the spelling. She cannot find it here in Texas, and neither can I. I would like to surprise her with a bottle of it, but cannot seem to find it.

Welcome, Laura. Could it be Vermantino? It is a distinctively perfumed Mediterranean white with good acid retention grown in Italy mainly in Sardinia and Liguria, and known in Provence, Languedoc and Corsica as Rolle.
